It’s time to help your teen step up...

How amazing would it feel to stop fighting with your teen to “grow up” and peacefully empower them to become independent instead!?

Hey Parents - Does this sound familiar?

Your teen comes to you stressed and anxious because it’s the night before their English project is due and they haven’t even started.

Now you’re stressed and anxious (and not just a tad frustrated).

You think, "Why does this keep happening?! They know about these deadlines weeks in advance. I shouldn’t have to help them, but if I don’t then they could fail."

So, you step in and stay up late to help them finish their project, maybe even do some of the work for them.

As a result, they come to rely on you to save the day, avoiding taking responsibility for their time management and continuing the cycle of last-minute stress and dependence.

You’re not alone - Many parents struggle with the same challenges and frustrations.

Imagine a different reality 💭💭💭

Your teen has a clear system for managing their time, breaking down projects into smaller tasks so they’re never left scrambling the night before a deadline. They’ve planned ahead and already completed their English project with time to spare.

Now you’re feeling calm and confident.

You think, "It’s incredible how much they’ve grown. They’re taking responsibility and learning how to stay on top of things without me stepping in."

So, you relax and enjoy your evening, knowing your teen is capable of handling their schoolwork on their own.

As a result, you both have more peace and less stress in the house, and your teen feels proud and empowered, gaining valuable time management skills that will serve them for life.

This transformation isn’t just a dream.

It’s completely possible, and I can help you get there— without all the fighting.

Hi! I’m Maggie – a Passionate Executive Functioning Coach

After over 10 years of Executive Functioning coaching and building a thriving EF coaching practice, I came to realize that while meeting clients 1:1 was helpful, I wasn’t able to reach as many teens and parents as I deeply wanted to.

My goal has always been to help parents cultivate a strong, grounded connection with their teens while empowering teens to become independent, self-reliant, and – ultimately – successful.

I’ve seen the tension and conflict that can arise in the parent-teen dynamic, often leading to frustration on both sides. But I also know that with the right guidance, those same challenges can be transformed into opportunities for growth and connection.

With a background in Media, Peace, and Conflict Studies, I’ve spent years understanding how conflict can be peacefully resolved, and this knowledge has deeply informed my approach to parenting and coaching.

I take a rooted and intentional approach to empowering parents, helping you guide your teen toward independence in a way that feels peaceful, supportive, and sustainable.

It’s not just about raising successful teens – it’s about cultivating an environment where your teen can thrive, grounded in trust and mutual respect.

Sounds great, right!? You know you have an undeniable desire to help your teen get to a place where they are self-reliant, but.... you have some doubts.

None of this needs to stand in your way...

  • Where you’ll find the time to navigate such a big change…

  • You’ve already tried everything and nothing works…

  • Will your teen even listen…

  • Shouldn’t you be able to figure this out on your own?

These are all valid concerns, but trust me when I say…

Without Raising Independent Teens - Parents can burn out fast from X lack of boundaries, X constant power struggles, X and endless reminders…

But that doesn’t have to be your story! With Raising Independent Teens you can…

  • Create healthy boundaries so you’re no longer managing every detail of your teen’s life.

  • End the exhausting power struggles and foster mutual respect with your teen.

  • Replace endless reminders with a system where your teen takes responsibility for their own tasks.

  • Experience more peaceful mornings and evenings, knowing your teen is developing independence.

  • Watch your teen grow in confidence as they master time management, emotional regulation, and problem-solving.

  • Free up time and energy for yourself, while knowing your teen is building skills for lifelong success.

This is probably not for you if…

  • You’re already fully confident in your teen’s executive functioning skills and don’t feel the need to foster more independence.

  • You’re looking for an easy, quick fix or expect someone else to handle the work — meaningful change takes time and effort, for both you and your teen.

  • You resist learning new parenting approaches and aren’t interested in trying out new strategies that could help your teen grow.

  • You’re someone who struggles with taking accountability or who finds excuses for why things don’t improve.
